Sixth Form Intent
Our Applied Sport curriculum prepares our students for university and to be leaders in their community by:
- Enabling students to experience challenge, sportsmanship and fair play through a range of competitive opportunities to encourage students to act professionally in all situations they experience.
- Building positive relationships through teamwork and problem solving which creates a professional culture where there is accountability for a students actions.
- Acquiring new skills and knowledge through the use of a growth mindset where pupils recognise they can fail but embrace this with resilience.
So that students develop a lifelong passion for physical activity and taking part in competitive sport.
