Secondary & Sixth Form Intent
Our Media Studies curriculum prepares our students for university and to be leaders in their community by:
- Enabling students to develop a critical understanding of the world around them through both engagement with media products, theories and concepts as well as through the application of creative practical production.
- Provide students with the tools to critically assess and evaluate today’s media landscape.
- Understanding the effect the Media has on our society and analysing whether audiences are active or passive.
So that students are confident at navigating the Media, in an increasingly media-saturated society.
