Overview
Have you downloaded the MCAS (My Child At School) app? It's a great way to keep track of your child's school day and therefore have more clarity with regards to what they're doing well and what they can do to improve.
MCAS links to our in-school Management Information System, Bromcom.
You will be able to see information about your child’s:
- Attendance
- Timetables and classes
- Behaviour
- School calendar dates
You will also be able to receive key communications, what you would usually receive via email and text, directly through the app.
Step two - activate your login
When we set you up on MCAS you will receive a separate email from MCAS/Bromcom with your School ID, Username, and Invitation Code. You will need all this information to create your account and login.
Your login details will only be valid for 4 hours when sent, so a prompt login is required in order to verify your account.
The below guides will help you with getting set up.

Step three - start using the app
We hope that parents will find the information on the portal a useful tool to know about key school information and your child’s progress. We expect that the topic you will engage with most regularly will be the behaviour and attendance module, especially as you will see behaviour events and attendance marks added in real time. You can have positive and productive conversations with your child about their behaviour and attendance.
Need more help?
We will be running an MCAS parent support surgery running from 1:00pm-5:00pm on SPA day, Monday 22 July 2024.
