Our timetabled day formally begins at 8.30am and ends at 3.30pm. This gives students more time in lessons than most other schools through our extended school day. More learning time means students’ chances of academic success and progress increase. 

As well as the formal day we offer additional learning opportunities for students in all of our small schools. Our expectation is that all students within the middle school participate in extra-curricular activities to promote their progress and understanding, and all students in the upper school are expected to be on site and actively engaged in either extended day clubs or additional study classes until 5pm Monday to Thursday.

We also have extended Learning Family time, in the morning from 8.30am to 8.50am and 3.15pm to 3.30pm which allows students the pastoral support to develop as individuals and enhance their learning habits.
