Year 6 Residential in Norfolk
Wednesday 15 August 2018
Our Year 6s went on a week long residential in Norfolk with the Country Trust which is national education charity dedicated to bringing alive the working countryside for children. Our Year 6s met rescue horses that are looked after by the Horse Charity and 3/4 of the group stroked a horse for the first time!
After a morning with horses and ponies, and a much fun tractor ride, students had an evening flossing and playing football. During the residential they visited Barton Adventure Centre by the beach – which luckily was a sunny day. The residential was full of activities, which guaranteed a good sleep every night. They also had initiative tasks, crate stacking, gardening and an obstacle course, which was enjoyed by everyone.
