Year 8s goes to City Hall for Environment Summit

Our Academy has been offered a fantastic opportunity to participate in an Environment Summit at City Hall hosted by the Mayor of London’s office and WeSchools. 10 of our passionate Year 8 environmentalists were selected to take part in this summit. They attended the summit to discuss our impact on the environment and how future generations can build towards a more sustainable future. After listening to a panel discussion, they worked with the Mayor of London’s team members on a brainstorming session and prepared a presentation to be showcased at the summit. Our students’ ideas and presentation style were received amazingly by the audience. They were commented on being inspiring and extremely professional. Well done to our Year 8 environmentalists for such impressive work!
