Year 11 geography exploration

Wednesday 08 January 2020

In September all of our Year 11 geography students attended a field trip to Epping Forest, an ancient woodland in north-east London. Students undertook a geographical enquiry by identifying a question and selecting, measuring and recording data related to that question. Their work also included exploring ways of processing and presenting data and finally reaching conclusions.

The forest is home to thousands of species. It has 100 lakes and ponds and is designated as a protected environment. Every year, our Year 11s visit the forest for their coursework and they develop personal skills, get inspired and also have fun.
