Students receive Marshall Wace Prize
Thursday 19 January 2017
10 of our year 12 students were each awarded a £100 prize for demonstrating exceptional achievement, progress or commitment in the last academic year.
The pupils who completed their GCSEs last year were given the prize in a celebration assembly in front of current GCSE pupils to demonstrate that hard work and dedication pays off at results day!
The prizes are designed to build a culture of recognizing and rewarding achievement across the Ark Network, as well as to help students financially in purchasing educational materials to support their sixth form studies.
One of our year 12 students, Rochelle, received a prize for 'the most improvement made by a pupil during their school career'. Rochelle was awarded, as she got 4 A*, 4A’s and 5B’s in her GCSE, and displayed an immense growth mindset and professionalism towards her studies.
Well done to all those pupils who received a prize!
