Student wins award for his dedication to his community

We were very proud to learn that Year 11 student, Billy, has received a £200 award from the Jack Petchey Foundation for the work he has done supporting the Coin Street Youth Club as a young leader. The award recognised his dedication to the young people in his community and he continued to show this dedication to them when he spent the money taking members of the youth club to Chessington World of Adventures for the day.

Billy winning this award epitomises what Ark Globe is all about; preparing our students for university and to be leaders in their community.

Matt Jones, Principal said: ‘I was so pleased to hear about Billy winning his award. At Ark Globe we want all of our students to be active and leading members of their communities. Billy has taken this on board and winning this award makes him an excellent role model for his peers. Well done Billy.’
