Legal Professionals with Year 9s

Wednesday 14 August 2019

Our Year 9 students welcomed legal professionals to our school for their workshop with the charity, Young Citizens. A group of lawyers from global firms Freshfields and Prudential kicked off the 5-week long workshops by introducing the legal world and sharing their expertise. Our students learnt advocacy skills in interactive sessions. They will continue developing legal knowledge as well as employability skills through experiencing a number of advocacy master classes.

The workshops are developed to help students with soft skills such as critical thinking and public speaking. Students also learn about the procedures which govern our legal system and will gain in-depth knowledge about a specific area of criminal law.
