Business Pathways students have been really busy

Wednesday 31 October 2018

Our Year 12s had a fantastic first term in the Sixth Form with a busy agenda. Both Foundation and Professional Pathway students presented their National Citizen Service social action projects to dragons from the local community of Camberwell. As a result, they volunteered at Morrison’s and Nunhead Cemetery in October.

Some of our Year 12s had a very comprehensive CV writing  and LindkedIn workshop delivered by professionals from Lendlease. This was the first time for some of our students to visit Lendlease offices in Elephant Park. They were impressed with the construction plans and particularly the 3D room.

Another successful trip was made to HR Owen, a luxury car company based in Mayfair. Our Year 12 students met their Jack Barclay team and heard about the company's business achievement and experienced high end luxury cars. It was an overall inspiring and fun visit. HR Owen members commented on social media: “It was fantastic for our Jack Barclay team to host the young talent from Ark Globe Academy. We look forward to seeing these guys as successful business heads in the future.”
