Library
The library at Ark Globe Academy is open to all students Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm. Apart from its main function as Resource Centre, where the students can read, borrow books, complete their homework and do research on the computers, the library also serves as a safe environment for all students who feel the need to retreat to a quiet and friendly place.
All year 7-9 students have the unique opportunity of benefiting from weekly library lessons so that we can make sure they are provided with the time and resources to do some independent as well as guided reading.
Opening Times
Primary
Ark Globe Academy Primary visits the library by arrangement between the class teacher and the librarian.
Secondary
The library is open to secondary students at the following times:
- Before school from 08:00 – 08:25
- Break time from 10:40 – 10:55
- Lunchtime from 12:45 – 13:25
- After school from 15:30 – 17:00
