Gardening club is thriving

Our Gardening Club have become more and more professional as gardeners. They have been growing vegetables and fruits in their greenhouse since the beginning of Spring. With the weather warming up they finally took their young plants and planted them in the garden. The club is creating its own legacy as Year 8s have been teaching year 7s how to plant strawberries.

So far they have had an amazing first strawberry harvest. Tomatoes, marrows, lettuce, spring onions, sugar snap peas and many more are growing in the garden. Very well done to the students who work with Ms Hammond to make the garden thrive!
