Enrichment Day: Culture, Heritage and Passion

Our whole Secondary and Sixth Form participated in the first Enrichment Day of 2018-2019. This day was all about culture, passions and the beautiful diverse heritage of our community. This Enrichment Day had something for every student, from trips to cultural institutions like Neasden Temple or the Natural History Museum to workshops on Manga, spoken word, self-development, printmaking and healthy cooking. Year 7s had teambuilding activities and fun trips, as they went to the Science Museum and Kidzania.

Media students went on trips to the Cinema Museum, Tate Modern and Design Museum. Some of our students attended workshops at Amazon, Burberry and Brewin Dolphin, while others learnt playing golf, boxing and Taekwondo, and visited Chelsea football club. Science students really enjoyed their session at the Royal Observatory, language students had a trip to the French Institute, and drama students went to the National Theatre.

All of our students and staff had this opportunity to learn new things and share their passions with each other, and really enjoyed the day. The next Enrichment Day will be on Professionalism and Leadership, which will take the students to the world of work and universities.
