Gardening Club is back

Our garden thrived during the summer. When the gardening club came back to school in September, they loved picking the remaining summer fruits and vegetables and observing some autumn vegetables growing. Stephanie and Jessica (Year 8) picked lots of tomatoes, and saw some new runner beans and butternut squash.

Stephanie said that her favourite activity in the garden is eating the harvest, particularly strawberries. Jessica on the other hand loves picking and planting. Alex and Kashif from Year 8 are also part of the gardening club. They love meeting friends after school in the garden as well as digging and planting.

The garden has become a popular spot for the gardening and nutrition club, as well as the environmental club. Well done to all of our students who work to make the garden amazing alongside Ms Hammond!
